TRANSITION Forum announces keynotes and over 60 international speakers to debate the theme “Shifting Towards Sustainable Lifestyles”

3 June 2019, PARIS, France — In response to the global clarion call for climate action, the 2019 TRANSITION Forum will convene over 350 climate innovators, investors, business leaders, policymakers, thought leaders and startups in Monte Carlo to identify and finance innovative solutions to accelerate the transition to a cleaner future.

Over 60 international speakers will examine the theme “Shifting Towards Sustainable Lifestyles”, decipher the challenges and identify cutting-edge innovations in four key areas undergoing radical transformation: Food, Mobility, Housing, and Production and Consumption. 

“We have an impressive line-up of diverse speakers who are all taking action to forge more sustainable economic and social models for human progress,” said Lionel le Maux, Chairman of Aqua Asset Management and Co-Founder of TRANSITION Forum. “Everyone is a key stakeholder in the ecological transition, but we must work together to accelerate the pace of transformation to preserve our planet for future generations.” 

The Forum will kick off on Wednesday, 26 June with opening remarks from His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, who is leading the Principality towards carbon neutrality by 2050. Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, President of the Metropolis of Nice Cote d’Azur and Deputy Chairman of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region (France), Pierre Gagnaire, French Michelin-starred Chef and Johan Eliasch, Chairman & CEO of Head and Founder of the UK-based NGO Cool Earth have also been confirmed for the opening session.
